This class aims to provide an overview of US history and culture in relation to the two cultural notions presiding over this year's national competitive exam (Mémoire: Héritages et Ruptures and Rencontres avec d'autres cultures). It also means to train students to analyze texts (visual, oral or written) and to be proficient in the comparison and contrast of documents topically put together for the Composition en Langue Etrangère.
